We recently purchased an espresso machine and wanted to keep this OXO unit but we unfortunately don’t have much counter space. Our loss is your gain. There are some hard water marks on the unit and we have cleaned it some but the marks are purely asthetic. We live in Los Angeles so even with filtering, the water remains hard.
